Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is an American brand of automotive oil change, tire, and general service centers founded in Alabama, United States, in 1979. It was purchased by the private equity firm Golden Gate Capital in June 2017. The company is headquartered in the Birmingham, Alabama suburb of Hoover. As of 2017, the company was the 10th largest fast lube chain in the United States.

Overview
Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers operates 229 fast lube stores with 115 stores being owned by the company and 114 being owned by franchisees. The company also owns and operates 78 traditional tire stores that do not feature fast lube bays, which are all operated under TE, LLC, most of which are branded Tire Engineers. The tire store acquisitions began in 2013 when Express Oil Change purchase Birmingham-based Tire Engineers.
While the company's 300 stores operate in 15 different states, stores are most heavily concentrated in the southeast.
